Material and lot traceability
Material grade, temper and certificate requirements are recorded at quotation. The required link between incoming material, production lot and delivery documentation is defined for the order.
Inspection through production
The inspection plan identifies first-off, in-process and final checks, with suitable calibrated instruments. Critical characteristics and dimensional-report requirements are agreed before release.
Specialist measurement
Where a part needs CMM measurement or specialist inspection, the proposed measurement route is established during technical review, including external inspection when appropriate.
Non-conformance control
Suspect material and parts are identified and contained. Deviations require documented disposition; customer concessions are obtained where required before shipment.
Programme-specific requirements
APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, SPC and MSA requirements are reviewed with the customer. Required deliverables and responsibilities are agreed for each programme.
